Welcome to our club!  We affectionately call ourselves “The Little Club That Could.”  We are a dynamic, young and fun-loving group of people who have found a great way to give back to the local and international community.  We were founded in 2003 and our club is part of Rotary District 5420, which covers all of Utah.  Our membership has varied between 20 and 40 over the years.  We currently have about 35 members.  We were honored to be named the District Club of the Year (out of nearly 50 clubs in Utah) for 2015-2016.

We are a very active club and strive to provide our members with meaningful, rewarding and FUN service opportunities locally in the St. George area and internationally through partnerships with other Rotary Clubs. Our club’s primary emphasis is to serve the youth of Washington County (see Service Projects below).

Our signature annual service project and major fundraiser is the Washington County Fair parking.  The club retains about 40% of the fees collected.  Some of this money goes into the club’s separate 501(c)3 Foundation account from which grants are made to local, charitable, youth-oriented organizations (see Foundation Grant Recipients below). Total annual grants have averaged approximately $5-6,000 since 2007 for a total of over $50,000.

The club recently partnered with the St. George Kiwanis club to put on the Red Rocks Car Show, an annual fundraising event in late September in conjunction with Swiss Days in Santa Clara.

Red Rock Rotary Club is comprised of community and business leaders who do not take themselves too seriously.  We gladly poke fun at each other during weekly “horse play” and join together in monthly volunteering activities to give back to this wonderful place we call home.
